Outreach to Indigenous People Groups
In the jungles outside the city of Cochabamba live the Yuquis, an impoverished, undeveloped indigenous people in need of basic resources, educational opportunities, and, most importantly, the gospel. Christ For the City (CFCI) missionaries Miguel and Coral Flores and their team regularly make the trek through the jungle and across the river to reach Yuqui land. They serve the Yuquis through ministry and teaching, medical care, skills training, and community development efforts. The CFCI team looks for opportunities to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of this marginalized people.
Come join the team in reaching out to the Yuquis. If you have professional skills or ministry experience with children and families, you have much to offer these people. Your choice to give up a few months of your life to spend loving and teaching them will impact their lives forever.
