Medical Missions
Christ For the City staff in El Salvador have recognized a need among the low income people of their country for adequate and affordable healthcare. While some Salvadorans have insurance and access to good healthcare, those on the fringes of society are often left without healthcare because they cannot pay and have no insurance available to them.
A few years ago, Christ For the City began working to meet the needs of those without healthcare through a new medical clinic in a needy area of San Salvador. The clinic focuses on giving affordable, Christian-based healthcare to families in need. The clinic is always in need of medical professionals to come work alongside our clinic’s doctor in offering love and care to patients. If you are a nurse, doctor, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional, a month or two of your life can help expand the ministry capacity of the clinic and reach more Salvadorans in need.
Dental Missions

Neighborhood Outreach
San Salvador, El Salvador is home to shopping malls, movie theaters, and skyscrapers, but away from the commercial areas of the capital city are neighborhoods filled with crushing poverty. Houses have just one room with a dirt floor and no running water or electricity. The people of these ragtag barrios live with little to no access to healthcare, few opportunities for education, and struggle to bring home the basic necessities for their families.
Christ For the City International staff in El Salvador feel burdened for these neighborhoods. In response to God’s call to reach out to the least of these, they have created a ministry called ProjeXion designed to bring hope to the marginalized of their city. Come serve with CFCI-El Salvador and assist with medical outreaches, bring food and clothes into impoverished communities, and minister to families through VBS, evangelism, and prayer. Your attention and love will demonstrate the love of God to those who feel lost and forgotten.
Soccer Training School Teacher
Gangs are a way of life for many kids living in San Salvador, the capital of tiny El Salvador located on the west coast of Central America. Many youth feel that joining a gang is just the way things are. Gangs offer them community and a sense of belonging they can’t find anywhere else. Christ For the City- El Salvador is working to make a difference in the lives of these youth and give them an alternative to gang life by teaching God’s Word, giving them positive friendships and mentors, and a place to do something they all love- play soccer.
The Soccer Training School recruits at-risk youth and gives them a place to be everyday after school. Christ For the City staff lead devotions before each practice and work hard to develop relationships with the youth and speak the truth into their lives.
