Construction
A few hours outside of Vera Cruz, Mexico near a small town called Tuxpan lies Camp Kikomar. Located on the beach, the camp is staffed by missionaries Diana Garrett and Mirna Sotoyamar. The two ladies took over the camp’s operations a few years ago and have been slowly and steadily reconstructing the old cabins and facilities, many of which have fallen into disrepair. They look forward to the day that the camp will be fully functional and reach its potential as a ministry site. They plan to hold kids’ and youth camps, seminars and conferences. They also look forward to hosting mission teams from North America who can put together outreach events for the surrounding communities.
Construction assistance is currently their greatest need. Diana and Mirna would love to have workers who can help them finish repairing the camp’s buildings and bring them closer to their goal of offering people a beautiful camping and ministry site.
