This experience impacted my relationship with God. He spoke to my heart and moved me in so many ways. It was about God molding me into the woman that He wanted to make me: a fruit-bearing, gospel-sharing, loving, and compassionate child of God.

Bryce

I was in El Salvador for 5 weeks helping out with a Christian soccer school and teaching English at a local elementary school. It was hard to leave my friends and family and the comfort I had back in America. My time in El Salvador was tough because of this, but ut was the sweetest fellowship I’ve EVER had with Christ. It was a great opportunity to “go outside the camp” (Heb. 13:13) and it also gave me a global vision for the church.

Joe

This experience changed my relationship with God in the sense that it drew me closer to Him. I was pushed out of my comfort zone and every day I was forced to trust God as I faced new experiences, tried to communicate in Spanish and lived in a new culture. My relationship with Him has been more personal since that experience.

Lindsay

Most people are familiar with the story about the woman at the well in John, where Jesus went out of his way to speak love and truth into a Samaritan woman’s life. Well, Nicaragua was my well. I feel like Jesus took me away from my busy and repetitive lifestyle and brought me into an environment where He knew I would be able to hear Him moire clearly. He reminded me numerous times and in powerful ways how much He loves me and who I am in Christ. Through Nicaragua God taught me that no matter where I go or what I go through He will be right there by my side to face it with me.
